Dancehall artiste Kranium took a break from overseas touring to connect with his local fans at the Kingston-based live music showcase Soundcheck Live, held at Dubwise Cafe last night (June 19).
The artiste’s down-to-earth personality was a highlight of the evening as his category of hits was interjected with anecdotes of each song’s making and inspiration. The Zee caught up with Kranium in a post-show interview to hear just how special the experience was for him and what differences he noted between intimate shows and bigger stages.
There was much to celebrate at Soundcheck as the event marked 1 year since its first staging in their Dubwise Jamaica home. The Zee also chatted with Carleene Samuels, best known by her moniker, goddess rockstar on the achievement, Kranium and more to come from Soundcheck.
