Kranium Blasts CMAs For Award Mix-Up

Share

Dancehall artiste Kranium is blasting the Caribbean Music Awards for what he considers a huge violation.
Yesterday (September 15), the "Gyal Policy" singer took to his Instagram page to call out CMAs, accusing them of being users.
In the first post, the self-styled "Melody Gad" dropped a photo of himself performing on a stage with the caption tagging the Awards group directly.
Fans quickly took to his comment section to question the brazen accusation, as fans were clearly confused.
The New York-based artiste then uploaded a 6-minute-long video to explain the previous post.
Kranium, an avid fan of the awards since their inception, stated that he was initially awarded "R&B Dancehall Artiste of the Year" on stage. However, a week later, he was contacted by the organizers claiming he had instead won Caribbean R&B Dancehall Song of the Year. A category, Kranium highlighted, did not even exist on the lists of awards.
The "Higher Life" singer made it clear that he felt humiliated and unappreciated.
Let's take a listen to a snippet from the video:

The CMAs have not publicly responded to the video.
