Tammi Chang, Koffee’s manager, has congratulated this year’s MOBO Awards nominees. Despite the fact that Koffee is not nominated for a MOBO Award this year, the event has had a significant impact on her career and the careers of other young, emerging reggae and dancehall recording artistes.
Before receiving her MOBO Awards nomination, the artiste was signed to major labels Columbia Records UK and RCA in the United States.
Koffee was nominated for Best Reggae Act along with Popcaan, Lila Iké, Protoje, and Buju Banton, who won the award.
The MOBO Awards returned in 2020 after a two-year hiatus due to pandemic-related setbacks.
