Grammy winner Koffee is finally back to music after almost a year in hiding.

On her Instagram account earlier this week, the singer teased new music. She posted in her stories a simple “October 7th” comment, along with a love letter emoji.

She captioned a 16-second clip “the title West Indies”, leading her 150k followers to think that is the name of the album. This tweet also happens to be the first since she has posted on social media since March!

It seems the fans were right as dropped her first single in almost a year, titled ‘West Indies’. Visuals for the track was also released today. Dancehall artists Prettii Prettii, Leno Banton, Tessellated, Jesse Royal, Yaksta and her mother, Jo-Anne Williams all made cameos in the video.

According to reports, ‘West Indies’ is expected to appear on her yet-to-be-announced album.

Her biggest release last year was her Dane Ray-produced effort ‘Lockdown‘, which has amassed 57 million views on Youtube.
