Knee Injury Forces Serena Williams Out of Wimbledon Doubles

International Tennis Star Serena Williams has withdrawn from her planned Wimbledon doubles return with sister Venus due to a knee injury.

The six-time All England Club doubles champions were set to reunite on court for the first time since 2022, but Serena confirmed she is not fit to compete after suffering the issue during her singles loss earlier in the week.

In an Instagram post, she said she was “heartbroken” but unable to play despite trying everything to recover.

Wimbledon officials said the decision was made shortly before the scheduled match, as Williams continues her recovery and leaves her next steps uncertain.
