Kingsley Cooper Passes


Kingsley Cooper, the founder of Pulse Investments Ltd. and attorney at law, has passed. He was 71 years old.

Late last night (June 18), Pulse Investments released a statement to announce the death of the fashion and entertainment trailblazer.

“He passed away surrounded by his family at the HCA Kendall Hospital in Miami, FL, on June 18, 2024,” read the statement posted on the Pulse’s Instagram account. The statement continued, “Cooper, through Pulse, pioneered and developed an international modelling industry for the Caribbean, in the process discovering and developing supermodels and other international stars.”

Pulse Agency became a key player for top modelling agencies, helping to launch the careers of Jamaican models such as Lois Samuels, Nadine Willis, and Althea Laing.
In 1980, Cooper co-founded the Pulse Modelling Agency.
