One of the standout moments came when the Manchester-based singjay disclosed that he is a “close family” member of acclaimed reggae artist Chronixx.
Khago shared that despite their blood relation—their fathers are first cousins, making Khago and Chronixx second cousins—there appears to be a strain in their current relationship. He claimed that Chronixx and his father (the well-known producer Chronicle) seem to be distancing themselves from him in recent times. According to Khago, this may stem from the fact that he did not offer Chronixx any support (“strength”) when the younger artiste was trying to break into the music industry.
Interestingly, Khago pointed out that Chronixx had once reached out to him asking for a helping hand early in his career. Khago did not specify the nature of the request, but his remarks suggest a sense of regret or missed opportunity—possibly contributing to the present disconnect between the relatives.
