Share

Prolific Reggae Girlz striker Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw has won the Women’s Super League Golden Boot for the second consecutive year.

The 28-year-old, who plays for Manchester City, netted a joint-league best 12 goals in just 19 appearances—despite missing almost half of the season due to injury.

Shaw’s achievement is even more impressive considering she was sidelined for 14 games and missed a total of 16 matches, including the final 9 consecutive games of the season.

Manchester City in her absence ended in 4th place with 43 points, having finished second on goal difference the previous season.
