The lawyer of Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries Leader, Valerie Neita Robertson, has raised concerns over the transfer of her client from St. James to Kingston.
Mrs. Neita Robertson says when checks were made this morning, she and other lawyers were unable to verify the whereabouts of Pastor Kevin Smith.
She says this is not the first time he was removed from custody without his lawyers being informed.
When questioned about Mrs. Neita-Robertson’s claims, Senior Communication Strategist at JCF, Dennis Brooks says all protocols were followed regarding Mr. Smith’s transfer.
Mr. Smith was to face the Home Circuit Court tomorrow in connection with the murder of two congregants during a cult-like ritual at his church last Sunday.
