Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, is facing several months and jail and a hefty fine for failing to register as a sex offender in California.
Federal prosecutors are calling for Kenneth Petty to serve 15 months in prison and pay a $55,000 fine for failing to register as a sex offender in California.
Petty must register whenever he moves following his 1995 attempted rape conviction of then-16-year-old Jennifer Hough.
According to TMZ, court documents states that Petty knowingly failed to register as a sex offender when he moved to California in 2019 after marrying Nicki Minaj.
Sentencing is set for July 6.
