Kendrick Lamar could be named as a performer for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
According to Sports Illustrated, the 22-time Grammy winner is being considered for a slot as a performer, with Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers already confirmed.
With Kendrick, a Compton native, representing the West Coast entirely, it's expected that he could be tapped for the sporting event.
In February, Kendrick played a crucial role in Super Bowl 59, where he performed the Apple Music Halftime Show with special guests SZA, Mustard, Serena Williams, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Drawing more than 133 million viewers, the pgLang-produced halftime show reportedly saw a higher viewership than the game itself.
