Vybz Kartel has some words to say about the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef!
In his interview with Billboard, the dancehall icon made it very clear that he was not a fan of Kendrick.
The “Thickiana” singer stated, “I don’t listen to Kendrick, so I wouldn’t know. What does he rap? I saw it on the internet, but no disrespect to the dude; I hear him, but I don’t listen to him. Drake is more in tune with Jamaica and the culture. Drake is a better and bigger artist”.
This statement comes after the Deejay’s New Year’s Eve Freedom Street Concert, where fans speculated that Drake would have made a surprise performance.
The Drake-Kendrick feud has escalated over time, with diss tracks from both sides.
Drake is currently suing Universal Music Group, accusing them of inflating Kendrick's streams. UMG has denied the accusations, calling them baseless. Meanwhile, Kendrick is set to headline the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
