Rapper Kanye West is celebrating renewed momentum for his Yeezy brand, declaring on X that “Yeezy is Apple of clothing.”
The statement came after the YS-01 Slides sold out in multiple colourways shortly after their JD Sports release.
The partnership marks Yeezy’s return to mainstream retail following the end of its Adidas deal in 2022.
West has previously compared Yeezy’s ambitions to Apple, saying he wanted the brand to create products that become the norm in fashion.
