Kanye West may have his own social media platform.

Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, agreed to buy Parler, a conservative social media app.

Parlement Technologies stated in a news release on earlier today (Oct 17) that Ye has agreed in principle to buy Parler, the social media service that has attracted fans of Donald J. Trump.

ā€œIn a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves,ā€ the rapper said in the statement released by Parlement Technologies, which did not disclose the agreed-upon price.

The deal comes after Yeā€™s antisemitic Twitter posts led to his account being suspended. West said ā€œIā€™m going to die [sic] con 3 on the Jewsā€ and claimed that he could not be anti-Semitic because black people are also ā€œJews.ā€ He also said that he was ā€œtoyed withā€ by Jews.
