The Matilda’s Corner Police say they have been employing numerous strategies aimed at targeting criminals, particularly those motorcycles, to help reduce incidents of robberies in the Station district.
In addition to this, the Police are reminding citizens to be aware of their surroundings, especially shopping areas and be on the look out for suspicious men on motorcycles.
The statement comes after today’s robbery incident involving Former Miss Universe Kaci Fennel at a shopping mall in Kingston.
Robbers on a motorcycle made off with her knapsack as she walked into the shopping complex.
She was not hurt.
