The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited (JUTC) will be engaging the police, private security contractors, and technology, as part of efforts to increase security for staff, passengers and vehicles, in the wake of more attacks.
The most recent incident resulted in two persons being injured and five buses being damaged, during stone throwing incidents in Three Miles, St. Andrew, on Wednesday.
The bus driver and a female passenger were injured after windshield fragments got into their eyes.
Their condition is not considered life threatening.
