The Jamaica Urban Transit Company, JUTC has announced that effective May 20, the company will be reducing the frequency of the Ocho Rios service, in response to concerns raised by public passenger vehicle, PPV operators who also serve the corridor.
The JUTC says this adjustment forms part of the company's commitment to stakeholder engagement and responsible service planning.
While the company remains focused on providing safe, reliable and affordable transportation option, JUTC says it recognises the importance of maintaining balance within the wider public transportation sector.
