The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has recently expanded its services to better accommodate commuters in various regions.
In addition to the new routes between Chapelton and May Pen in Clarendon, and Castleton Gardens in St. Mary to Half-Way Tree in St. Andrew, the JUTC has reintroduced and launched several other routes.
As of January 16, 2025, the JUTC has reinstated routes 501, 502, 503, and 511, enhancing convenience and affordability for residents and students in May Pen and surrounding areas.
tarting January 27, 2025, the JUTC introduced Route 605, connecting Linstead to Spanish Town via Bog Walk and Angels.
This service operates with multiple departures throughout the day, offering safe and reliable transportation for residents along the corridor.
These initiatives reflect the JUTC's commitment to enhancing the commuting experience by responding to the transportation needs of various communities across Jamaica.
