Pop singer Justin Bieber announced early Tuesday the cancellation of his Justice World Tour due to health struggles with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome.
The singer was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year.
Writing on his Instagram Stories, Justin told his 256 million followers: “Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed.
“As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.
This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now.
So, I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be okay but I need time to rest and get better.”
The Justice World Tour was set to start in 2021 but was delayed until 2022 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It’s not clear how long the break will last or if the shows are canceled for good.
