President of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association JTA Mark Malabver, is urging educators to uphold the highest standards of dignity and professionalism as the new school year begins.
Delivering the Association’s official back-to-school message, Mr. Malabver encouraged teachers to remain steadfast in inspiring and guiding their students, even in the face of ongoing challenges.
He reassured members that the JTA is firmly committed to advocating for them during the current round of salary negotiations.
At the same time, the JTA President highlighted the need to address disparities in the education system, stressing that while some schools benefit from ample resources, many others continue to operate under severe constraints.
