‘Joel Immortal’ Tennant was crowned the Red Bull Dance Your Style 2022 National Champion, at the final held Wednesday evening in Kingston.
16 dancers battled for the coveted spot. ‘Joel Immortal’ now gears up to represent Jamaica on the global stage at the 2022 Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final, set to be hosted in the South African City of Johannesburg on December 10th.
Host and Choreographer Latonya Styles, is confident in Joel’s ability to deliver on the world stage.
Meantime, Joel will join dancer Flexx Cautiion – 2021 Champion – and together they will represent Jamaica in Johannesburg. He calls it ‘a dream come true.
Red Bull Dance Your Style and its unique battle format has become a platform for street dancers of all styles – from hip hop to popping, house, locking and more – to showcase their skills.
