JLP And Fontana Express Support For Police Ahead Of JFJ Protest Today

The Jamaica' Labour Party JLP and Fontana Pharmacy, are among groups which have expressed support for the police, ahead of today's protest by Jamaicans For Justice JFJ, to press for the security forces' use of body worn cameras.

The lobby group will lead a protest in Half-Way-Tree St. Andrew, starting at 1:00pm, to highlight concerns about the increase in fatal shootings.

There have been 106 fatal shootings, since the start of the year.

JFJ has urged citizens, to join its protest, to amplify the call for greater accountability, through the use of body cameras.

In light of this, the JLP and Fontana Pharmacy, have made public, their support for the JCF.
