A Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) activist was shot and killed along the Port Henderson main road in Portmore St Catherine, last evening (May 29).
Dead is 53-year-old Wayne Baldie, otherwise called ‘Showa Wayne’ of Bayside, Portmore in the parish.
Reports are that at about 8: 20 pm, Baldie was among a group of men playing dominoes when he was pounced upon by armed men, who opened gunfire hitting him.
The police were alerted and Baldie was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
