Neo-soul icon Jill Scott has announced an upcoming sixth studio album: To Whom This May Concern, out February 13.

The album will mark Scott's first full project in 10 years, following the release of Woman in 2015.

The Golden singer revealed the news of To Whom This May Concern via her Instagram with a post captioned: “PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE and THANK YOU for your patience and your listening ears”.

The already disclosed list of album features is stacked, including Ab-Soul, J.I.D., Tierra Whack, and Too $hort. In a statement accompanying the announcement, "To Whom This May Concern is an offering leaning heavily into the power of connectivity, humanity, and collective home,”. It goes on to explain that the album “reflects Scott’s grit and grace, grounded in her lifelong commitment to inspire, uplift, and remind us that sometimes the most powerful magic is simply showing up with love, truth, and with always a song in heart.”

Today marks the release of “Beautiful People”, the album's lead single, reminiscent of the legacy artiste's classic neo-soul sound.
