Grammy-nominated R&B singer Jhené Aiko is officially kicking off a new musical era, revealing that her fourth studio album, Westside Whimsy, will drop this Friday, September 11.
The announcement ends a six-year wait for fans following her 2020 project Chilombo, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top R&B Albums chart.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Aiko posted the official album cover depicting a close-up portrait with crystal teardrops running down her face.
While a complete tracklist has not yet been revealed, Aiko has previously cited 1990s West Coast car culture, beach aesthetics, and road trip vibes as key inspirations behind the project's sound.
