Outspoken Senior Reggae Boy Damion Lowe says Head Coach Theodore “Tappa” Whitmore was instrumental in the team and the Jamaica Football Federation, JFF resolving their long-standing contract dispute.

The dispute was over remuneration and bonuses for the players who are preparing for the Concacaf Gold Cup and the final round of the Fifa World Cup qualifying campaign.

A number of the senior players missed the recent 4-1 loss to the USA in a friendly international in Austria but are expected back in the set-up after agreement was arrived at on Thursday.

Lowe posting on Twitter said the team decided to go ahead with the latest contract terms offered by the JFF so that Jamaica can begin preparations and field the best possible team for the Gold Cup & World Cup Qualifiers after speaking with Coach Whitmore.
