Clarendon Dancehall artiste Jeff Fullyauto has become a focal point of discussion locally after the unexpected removal of Byron Messia's hit song Talibans music videos from YouTube due to a copyright claim. This action affected both the original music video and the remix featuring Nigerian star Burna Boy, sparking widespread conversation.
Before their removal, the original music video amassed over 80 million views, while the remix racked up more than 40 million views, bringing their combined total to over 130 million views.
Currently, only an audio version of the track, featured on Byron Messia’s album, remains available on YouTube, where it has accumulated over 11 million views.
The incident highlights ongoing challenges regarding copyright claims in the music industry, particularly in the Dancehall scene.
