JCF mourns loss of District Constable murdered in Allman Town

The Jamaica Constabulary Force is mourning the loss of 36-year-old District Constable Kemar Armstrong, who was brutally killed at his home in Emily Lane, Allman Town in Kingston yesterday.

Armstrong, who was recently transferred to the Force’s Community Safety and Security Branch, was reportedly attacked by a lone gunman at his home about 5:30 p.m. and shot several times. He later died at hospital.

In a release, the JCF Corporate Communications Unit, CCU says Armstrong’s family is being supported by the Welfare Unit, the Chaplaincy Unit and personnel from the CSSB. Support is also being extended to the colleagues of District Constable Armstrong.

The Police High Command says it is encouraging all members of the Force to make use of all available avenues as they seek to cope with the loss of two colleagues in such tragic circumstances.
