JCF High Command Launches Probe Following Party Brawl

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) High Command says it is aware of a video circulating on social media that shows an alleged incident involving off-duty personnel purported to be members of the JCF.

The incident which was captured on camera, saw a group of men said to be member of the JCF, assaulting popular tiktok users, TJ thuglife and Moya Slays as others tried to stop the beating.

The video, captured at the weekend following Rebel's Birthday Celebration, has caused an uproar on social media.

Promoter Romiech Major issued an apology and has taken full responsibility for his actions which led to the incident.

Now, Upon learning of the incident, the High Command says it immediately launched an internal investigation through its Inspectorate Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (IPROB) to determine the facts, including whether any policies were breached.

However, it says the matter has since become the subject of an independent investigation by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM), which is responsible for investigating allegations of police misconduct.
