The staging of the Gospel Star Competition of the annual Jamaica Festival is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 9.
JCDC Gospel Star Competition 2023 Top 10 Finalists
The finalists will face off in a highly competitive sing-off for three consecutive weeks spanning from July 9 to July 23.

In a press release, Gospel Star Coordinator at JCDC, Alicia Taylor, stated that the competition is about a group of dynamic and talented people coming together to compete for the number one spot.
It’s an opportunity given to an individual who wants a career in the Gospel Music Ministry.
It also provides 10 individuals with a platform to showcase to the Nation just how special and talented they all are.
She also explained that the public will be able to vote for each contestant and through the number of votes polled, the Jamaica Gospel Star will be selected.
The Gospel Star Competition 2023 grand final will take place on Thursday, August 3 at the National Arena in Kingston.
