The Jamaica College JC Board says students involved in the assault of a schoolmate, will face the school’s disciplinary committee.
In a statement, the board said it became aware of the disturbing viral video on April 18 and launched an immediate investigation, identifying those involved by the following day.
The video shows two students attacking another. The victim later admitted to taking items, including a jacket, glasses and money, from the group weeks earlier, returning some, but not all.
The board said the attackers confronted him on campus over the outstanding items, leading to the altercation.
It noted that all students involved have since been interviewed with their parents present and will face disciplinary action.
