Rapper Shawn Corey Carter, more popularly known as Jay Z, is thinking about living forever. The rapper aims to leave his legacy in memories, citing that he would hope to be thought of like Jamaican, legend Bob Marley.

In a rare interview with the UK based Sunday Times to promote his Puma partnership, Hov opened up about navigating life during the COVID-19 pandemic, how he views race relations within the U.S. and taking pride in his decades-long career and extensive portfolio.

When asked how he wants to be remembered Jay said wants to be remembered among the greats. ā€œI have no idea,ā€ Jay said. ā€œIā€™m not beyond ego, right? Hopefully, they speak of me [with] the names of Bob Marley and all the greats. But thatā€™s not for me to say.ā€

The legendary Bob Marley is known worldwide as the king of Reggae music. Bob Marley died almost 40 years ago due to cancer and his legacy still lives on.
