Rap Mogul Jay-Z might be taking the Super Bowl halftime stage himself this time around! The hip-hop mogul has reportedly selected himself to headline Super Bowl 61 on Feb. 14, 2027, following weeks of speculation about who will land the coveted gig.
Other names reportedly in the mix include Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, but Jay-Z could be gearing up to make the biggest statement of all by putting himself in the spotlight.
Since 2019, his Roc Nation company has partnered with the NFL to produce the halftime show, giving him a major role in shaping its star-studded lineups.
The reported move would also arrive during a milestone moment for Jay-Z, who is celebrating 30 years of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, and 25 years of The Blueprint.
Through Roc Nation’s partnership with the NFL, the halftime stage has welcomed major stars including Bad Bunny, Usher, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna and The Weeknd.
If the reports prove true, Jay-Z could be trading his behind-the-scenes role for the spotlight and making the biggest halftime call of his career his own.
