American music mogul Jay-Z has shared how he’d like to be remembered, saying he hopes its in the same vein as reggae legend “Bob Marley and all the greats”.
In an interview with the UK based Sunday Times to promote his Puma partnership, Hov opened up about navigating life during the COVID-19 pandemic, how he views race relations within the U.S., and taking pride in his decades-long career and extensive portfolio.
When asked how he wants to be remembered Jay said “I have no idea,” “I’m not beyond ego, right? Hopefully they speak of me [with] the names of Bob Marley and all the greats. But that’s not for me to say.”
The iconic rapper who visited the island back in 2017, joins many other international celebrities who said Bob Marley have influenced their introduction into music.
