Jamaican born producer and songwriter Tessellated is behind the soundtrack of Apple’s Newest Ad.
Apple’s newest ad for “Bounce,” released yesterday (Thurs) to promote AirPods, continues this tradition of featuring rising artists with little mainstream awareness.
The new ad soundtrack comes from Tessellated’s single, “I Learnt Some Jazz Today’ which the 21 year old reportedly wrote while in college and revamped it for the AirPods spot ‘Bounce’.
Raised in Kingston and currently based in Los Angeles, Tessellated blends a wide range of styles, ranging from reggae, dancehall and funk to hip-hop and jazz.
He recently had his first hit with “Pine & Ginger,” which has more than 11 million streams on Spotify.
