12 of Jamaica’s special Olympics athletes are set to represent the country at the Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando between June 5 & 12. Jamaica will be participating in three sporting disciplines including athletics, swimming and bocce.
The Jamaicans will be among more than 5,000 athletes & coaches at the 5-day event.
This will be the first international event for Jamaica’s special Olympians since the COVID-19 pandemic.
