Jamaica’s 4×100 relay U-20 sets junior record at World Championships

Jamaica’s 4×100 metres relay team of Serena Cole, Tina and Tia Clayton and Kerrica Hill set a new junior record of 42.94 secs on their way to winning the event on yesterday’s final day of the World Athletics U20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya.

This was one of four records broken at the championships and one of 8 medals won on yesterday’s final day.

Kenya topped the medal table with eight gold, one silver and seven bronze ahead of Finland, four gold and one silver.
