Share

When Jamaica assumes the chairmanship of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the focus will be on human development, capacity-building, and strategic partnerships—central pillars in all discussions and actions moving forward.

Incoming Chairman, Prime Minister Andrew Holness, will take over from Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Mottley and is set to lead the 49th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.

The summit will be held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James from July 6 to 8, under the theme “People, Partnerships, Prosperity: Promoting a Secure and Sustainable Future.”
