Jamaica has been given the green light to host the 49th edition of the Carifta Games next year.
President of the Jamaica Athletic Administrative Association JAAA Garth Gayle made the announcement on the weekend.
The games are scheduled to be held over Easter April 16 to 18.
Gayle announced that the JAAA had received official word from minister of gender, culture, entertainment and sports Olivia Grange.
