Jamaica has recorded its first triple murder for 2025.
The incident occurred in Central Village, St. Catherine last night.
Dead are 20-year-old Matthew Smith also known as Cool Jay, Giovanni Ferguson otherwise called Gio and Jaheim Ferguson otherwise called Jay Jay all from Central Village.
Police say the men were standing in the community when they were pounced upon by gunmen who opened fire hitting them.
The wounded men were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
