Jamaica is preparing for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 2, says JOA President Christopher Samuda.
The country is expected to compete in seven to eight sports, including track and field, netball, swimming, taekwondo, judo, gymnastics, and possibly lawn bowls.
Samuda confirmed management meetings and travel arrangements are in place, supported by Commonwealth Games grants, and said preparations are on track despite the Games being scaled back for financial reasons.
Final athlete selections will depend on upcoming qualification events.
