Dancehall artist Jahvillani is pretty confident about his upcoming performance at Reggae Sumfest on Friday.

In an interview with the Zee on Thursday, the ‘Clarks Pon Foot’ artist said being a part of the closing acts is not a concern for him because his music is well known in the western parts of Jamaica.

In terms of Jahvillani’s fast-rising career, when asked how he handles critics on social media, he explained his avoidance of reading other users’ comments.

He also mentioned the rarity of his public appearances which disallows him to encounter with critics in person.

Jahvillani has been generating impact since the release of the ‘fans-favorite’ song, ‘Wile Side Government’ in 2018. Since then, he has had collaborations with big-name artists like I-Octane, Konshens and Stylo-G. He also received an endorsement from the popular shoe company for his song ‘Clarks Pon Foot’.
