Reggae singer Jah Cure’s case will have a key hearing on June 18, where Dutch prosecutors will seek to reinstate an attempted murder charge against him.
The “Never Find” singer, whose real name is Siccature Alcock, has been in pre-trial detention in Amsterdam while prosecutors appeal his 2022 acquittal of the charge.
Jah Cure was sentenced to six years for attempted manslaughter after stabbing Dutch concert promoter Nicardo ‘Papa’ Blake over unpaid fees in 2021.
The crooner’s legal team is also appealing that conviction. The upcoming hearing will determine whether prosecutors can move forward with the attempted murder charge.
