Reggae artiste Jah Cure’s latest run-in with the law in Amsterdam could reportedly land him in jail for up to 15 years.

The entertainer is accused of stabbing a promoter in the Dutch city after an altercation.

He appeared in court earlier this week and was arraigned before the examining judge.

Jah Cure remains in custody, without bail while the police investigation continues.

He is facing charges of suspicion of attempted murder, attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault or attempted aggravated assault.

The entertainer previously received a 15-year sentence in 1999 in Jamaica after he was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, rape and robbery with aggravation.

He was released early in 2007 after serving eight years.

Jah Cure was on a tour of Europe when the incident occurred.

The arrest sparked online conversations with some social media users claiming that the entertainer is on a downward spiral, while others say he needs an intervention.
