Jah Cure, whose real name is Siccature Alcock, reportedly is being held without bail and is facing up to 15 years in a Dutch prison for attempted murder and assault charges.
The Zee reported earlier this week that the artiste was arrested by police in Amsterdam Netherlands last Saturday.
It is alleged that the artiste attacked promoter ‘Papa’ of Roots Vibes Promotion and stabbed him in the abdomen last Friday. Papa was hospitalized after the incident and then made a report to the police.
According to the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service, the examining judge has ordered that the suspect in the incident be placed on remand for 14 days while the police investigation continues. Jah Cure will remain in custody, without bail, in a detention centre.
If he is convicted in the Netherlands for the stabbing of Dutch Promoter Nicardo Blake, he could be facing up to 15 years in jail.
