Popular personality Ivany Wright was handed a suspended sentence when she appeared in court yesterday in relation to the theft of two cell phones.
She was charged with larceny by trick following a November 6 incident in which Wright, along with her 2 co-accused, made off with two cell phones valued at approximately 250 thousand dollars.
The phones, an iPhone 11 Pro Max and an iPhone XR, have since been returned to the complainants.
Wright was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months.
She is however set to return to court on July 5 to answer to separate charges against her.
