Earlier this month, The Issa Trust Foundation hosted a benefit concert, in an effort raise funds towards the construction of the Mary Issa Paediatric and Adolescent Health Centre in Ocho Rios, St Ann. It featured the likes of renowned musicians Shaggy & Lila Ike as well as The Voicebox.
It's also the foundation's 20th anniversary.
It's not yet announced how much money has beengenerated from the event but last year's staging which saw the American powerhouse Michael Bolton performing live, raised over 500,000USD.
Marketer Sean Edwards, who works closely with the foundation, talks about the uniqueness of the prestigious, all inclusive VIP event.
Meantime, Direct Relief, The United States 5th largest charity- according to Forbes, says the event marks deep collaboration with stakeholders.
