IRAWMA gets record number of votes for Reggae’s big night

The 37th staging of the International Reggae and World Music Awards, IRAWMA, set for this Saturday, will see a number of reggae and dancehall stars being honoured for their music efforts in the genre.

In providing an update, Operations Manager, Jacqueline Jackson says a record number of the votes came from the continent of Africa primarily from Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Congo and Uganda.

She says some of the nominees from Africa will also arrive on the island tomorrow, for the Awards show.
