Andrew Parsons, President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), arrived in Kingston on Sunday night for his inaugural visit to Jamaica. He was welcomed at Norman Manley International Airport by Jamaica Paralympic Association President Christopher Samuda.
During his stay, which concludes on Thursday, Parsons is set to engage with various sports stakeholders to discuss the development and strengthening of parasports in the region.
His itinerary includes meetings with Sports Minister Olivia Grange and Opposition Leader Mark Golding. This visit marks the first time an IPC President has visited Jamaica.
