U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been arranging deportation flights for single adults and family units to several Caribbean and Central American countries.

From October 28 to November 1, ICE worked with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to organize these flights to destinations including Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico.

ICE stated that if a non-citizen enters the United States without a legal right to stay, they are swiftly processed and deported in accordance with U.S. law.

Since the implementation of the Presidential Proclamation and Interim Final Rule on June 5, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has deported or returned over 160,000 people to more than 145 countries through September, excluding removals from airports and the northern border.
